Limited edition of 27. 8 x 12 cm with 2cm border.
Limited edition archival giclée print on Hahnemühle cotton paper (308gsm). Each piece is printed, hand signed and numbered by the artist. Each print’s size matches that of the original drawing. The prints are inside a sealed cover with a backing board. There is an option to mount or mount and frame the piece in UV-resistant clarity glass and black wooden box frame. An embossed certificate of authenticity will accompany your print.
Original details:
Graphite on canson mixed media paper (200gsm), 8 x 12cm, produced in 10 hours
Context:
The process to create this piece was an experimental departure from the usual method used to create the drawings. There was no reference or source used and no previous or underlying sketch, grid or other aid to map out the skyscape. The graphite was applied liberally onto blank paper in a concentric fashion leaving small empty areas that were shaped and softened into stars and space dust. This is the only drawing created with this method.
